39-Year-Old Man Dies in Pedestrian Accident on 405 Freeway

VAN NUYS, CA (July 5, 2022) – A pedestrian crash on Burbank Boulevard claimed the life of Christopher Berry, Friday morning.

The crash happened on July 1st at around 1:46 a.m., per initial reports.

Furthermore, police said the crash involved a vehicle traveling southbound on Burbank Boulevard near the San Diego (405) Freeway. For reasons currently unknown, the vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian in the roadway.

Eventually, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office identify 39-year-old Berry as the deceased pedestrian.

Meanwhile, the driver that struck Berry remained at the scene to cooperate with the investigations.

Additionally, several lanes were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. An active investigation is currently ongoing.
