Cops today said they solved a “brutal” girl-on-girl murder that took place in a South Los Angeles motel room only a couple of blocks from the storied LAPD 77th Street Community Police Station this week.

They say in a statement that housekeepers found the body of 26-year-old Christina Miner in the room at the motel in the 7500 block of South San Pedro Street yesterday and summoned rescuers, who pronounced her dead at the scene.

In fact, detectives believe …

… that minor was actually murdered Wednesday about 6:45 p.m “with an unknown sharp object.”

How do they know all that? They're not saying. But they did track down a woman they allege did the deed:

Thirty-two-year-old Tabitha Valdes, who was arrested and booked on suspicion of murder. Her bail was set at $1 million.

Cops say they think this was a “personal dispute,” but they want anyone who might have more info on the slaying to give them a call at 213-485-1383.
