1 Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near Riverside Drive

LAKE ELSINORE, CA (December 28, 2021) – A car crash on Lake Crest Drive claimed the life of Christian Bacilio early Monday morning.

The fatal incident occurred around 1:45 a.m., at the intersection of Lake Crest and Riverside Drive. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Per reports, Bacilio’s vehicle collided with a sheriff’s patrol unit for reasons unknown. Due to the impact of the collision, Bacilio was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the Sheriff’s spokeswoman Sgt. Deanna Pecoraro, the deputy inside the patrol vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Lake Elsinore officials later identified the deceased victim as Christian Bacilio Menifee.

At this time, police say the circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. Although, authorities continue to investigate the fatal crash.
