19-Year-Old Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Crash near Via Centre

VISTA, CA (May 16, 2024)Chris Hendrickson died Thursday afternoon, in a motorcycle crash at the 2000 block of Hacienda Drive.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:00 p.m., near Via Centre in North County.

Per reports, a Suzuki motorcycle collided with a Subaru Hatchback for unknown reasons. The impact ejected the rider from the motorcycle, resulting in significant injuries.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the motorcyclist to Tri-City Medical Center, where he later died. Authorities have identified the deceased as 19-year-old Hendrickson. Police stated that the driver of the Subaru was not injured in the collision.

Vista officials will release more information about the fatal two-vehicle crash on Hacienda Drive as it becomes available.
