Sheriff's investigators want to talk to Chris Brown after the pop singer allegedly punched crooner Frank Ocean over a parking space at a West Hollywood recording studio overnight.
The fracas happened last night in the 7200 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, according to a sheriff's statement.
While deputies say the clash involved a punch, Ocean had a different take:
Ocean tweeted at 10:35 last night that it was Brown and “a couple guys” who attacked him:
He indicated that the clash left him injured and perhaps could prevent him from giving it his all during a Grammy Awards performance:
Sheriff's officials said this in a statement:
… Deputies talked to witnesses who stated that Chris Brown and the victim were involved in an altercation over a parking space. The altercation allegedly led to Chris Brown punching the victim.
After a brief fight, the parties were separated.
Chris Brown and his entourage left the location prior to the arrival of deputies.
The investigation is on-going and investigators will contact Chris Brown at a later time.
Brown, of course, is on probation for attacking Rihanna on the night before the Grammy Awards in 2009. He also allegedly got into it with Drake at a New York club in summer.
Anger issues?
Strangely, his trance-pop music is as soft and feminine as it comes. Maybe Brown is overcompensating.
