Bakersfield Hit-And-Run Driver Left 10-Year-Old Kid Injured

BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 16, 2021) Bakersfield authorities in search for the hit-and-run driver that left a 10-year-old child injured on Thursday.

Officers responded to the incident around 1 P.M. on Monterey Street near Fairfax Road.

According to the report, a vehicle struck the child riding a bicycle and immediately fled the scene.

As a result, the child suffered foot injuries l, but the severity of the injury remains unspecified.

Eventually, paramedics arrived and assisted the juvenile victim.

It the end, the Bakersfield officials closed down the roadway to investigate the hit-and-run crash.
