Child Hurt in Hit-and-Run Crash near Lawrence E. Jones Middle School
ROHNERT PARK, CA (October 18, 2022) – Wednesday morning, a juvenile sustained injuries in a bicycle hit-and-run crash on Snyder Lane.
The accident happened at 7:40 a.m., near the Copeland Creek Trail crossing.
According to reports, the driver of a red vehicle was pulling out of a parking lot and struck the child on a bicycle. The driver initially stopped and spoke to the child before fleeing the scene without leaving any information.
Bystanders said they told the driver to stay at the scene, but he immediately fled south on Synder Lane.
Officials have not yet released any information about the injured victim’s condition or identity.
