Vehicle in Alhambra Driveway Struck and Fatally Injures 2-Year-Old Child
ALHAMBRA, CA (August 23, 2021) – Last Wednesday a vehicle struck and killed a 2-year-old girl in a driveway on Alhambra, police said.
Officers responded to the incident just before 10:40 A.M. at a condominium complex in the 2200 block of Larch Street.
Upon arrival, they located the girl lying on the driveway while suffering from major injuries, according to the report.
Unfortunately, the 2-year-old succumbed to her injuries despite the life-saving efforts performed by the paramedics.
At this time, the Alhambra police continue to withhold the identity of the victim.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Authorities are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
