7-Year-Old Boy Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash on 7th Street
SANTA ANA, CA (September 7, 2022) – Sunday evening, a 7-year-old boy was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on Rosita Street.
The incident occurred around 8:50 p.m., just north of 7th Street.
Per reports, the driver of a passing vehicle struck the child at the intersection. Responding officers located the child in the roadway with serious injuries.
Eventually, paramedics transported the 7-year-old boy to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Although, his name has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
