Fatal Two-Car Collision on SR 160 Result in Child’s Death

LAS VEGAS, NV (September 7, 2021) – One child tragically died Sunday afternoon after a deadly two-car collision on SR 160.

The deadly crash happened around 4:00 p.m., on SR 160 near Mile Mark 43 Clark.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, two cars were going north on SR 160 when one vehicle struck another vehicle for unknown reasons, sending it off-road where it overturned.

There were eight people in the overturned vehicle. Unfortunately, one of the juvenile passengers died at the scene.

Meanwhile, medics transported the remaining seven occupants to Desert View Hospital. In addition, the driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital.

At this time, the NHP have not determined if impairment or speed were a factor. However, an active investigation is underway.
