Deadly Car Crash near Ditman Avenue Results in Child’s Fatality

LOS ANGELES, CA (August 17, 2021) – One child died and two others were hospitalized Sunday morning after a fiery accident on Dennison Street.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Dennison Street and Ditman Avenue around 2:24 a.m., on August 15.

Per reports, a car was exiting the freeway when the driver crashed into wall. Due to the impact of the collision, the vehicle became engulfed in flames.

According to the California Highway Patrol, it is unknown what caused the driver to lose control, but three children were in the vehicle. One child went into full cardiac arrest.

All of the minors were taken to a local hospital, where one of them was pronounced dead.

Authorities have not released the ages or conditions of the other injured children at this time.

Moreover, the surrounding area was closed for a brief time after the fiery accident on Dennison Street. But, the road has reopened.

Meanwhile, authorities are requesting that anyone with additional information about the crash on Ditman Avenue contact their offices as soon as possible.
