63-Year Old Woman Killed in Traffic Accident on North Chester Avenue

OILDALE, CA (April 28, 2022) Early Tuesday evening, 63-year-old Cheryl Ann Bowling died in a traffic collision on Chester Avenue.

The accident happened around 7:57 p.m. near the intersection of Chester Avenue and West China Grade Loop.

Furthermore, officials said both Bowling and the driver were heading west on a green light.

After making the right turn, the vehicle struck the victim in the roadway.

Meanwhile, police said the elderly woman in a wheelchair, later died from her injuries at the hospital.

Additionally, California Highway Patrol said there is no indication that alcohol or drugs were involved, and speed was not a factor either.
