44th Avenue Two-Vehicle Crash Injures Several, Kills 63-Year-Old Cheryl Anderson

PHOENIX, AZ (October 1, 2021) – Last Sunday, Cheryl Anderson was killed and several others injured after a two-vehicle collision on 44th Avenue.

Moreover, the incident occurred around 10:45 p.m., near Indian School Road and 44th Avenue according to authorities.

Per the initial reports, a Kia Soul travelling on 45th Avenue attempted to turn onto Indian School Road when it struck a Hyundai Sonata.

Upon arrival, the emergency crews transported a number of individuals to the hospital with various injuries.

Unfortunately, Cheryl Anderson succumbed to her injuries later at the hospital.

Meanwhile, the surrounding road was shutdown for an investigation and cleanup duties, but was reopened shortly after.

Ultimately, police have not yet released the conditions or identities of the other parties involved.

Phoenix Authorities are currently investigating the two-vehicle crash on 44th Avenue.
