Gordon Ramsay may have been a no show at LudoBites last night, where he had originally booked a table with Joe Bastianich, et. al., but the chef's around, even though he sold Gordon Ramsay at the London West Hollywood last year. (Ramsay is listed as “chef patron” on the restaurant's website, which is hilarious for all kinds of reasons.) There's a new spring menu at GRALWH, and a new executive chef too. Andy Cook, who had opened the restaurant, left in late February to return to Ramsay's The Savoy in London.

Taking Cook's toque, as it were, is Anthony Keene, who spent 15 years with Ritz-Carlton, working as executive chef at the company's kitchens in the US and Hong Kong. Keene, who also spent time at Carmel Valley Ranch, has revamped the menu. Rabbit agnolotti. Lamb with creamy polenta and grilled cipollini onions. Valhrona mousse with caramelized bananas and kumquat sorbet. Guess he can stay.
