Waterloo & City chef/partner Brendan Collins is branching out. The British-born chef known for his “meat on meat crime” and his Waterloo partner, Carolos Tomazos, have teamed with Hotel Erwin's Mark and Erwin Sokol to open a Larry's (@larrysvenice), a casual neighborhood eatery where none of the dishes cost more than $15.

Opening later this month, Larry's, named after local artist Larry Bell, is located a stone's throw from the Venice Beach Boardwalk. Naturally, the menu will feature plenty of housemade charcuterie. Plus, there's a wide selection of pizzas as well as a global beer and wine with 26 draft brews. (Everything from Ommegang Hennepin Farmhouse Saison to international brews like Green King Brewery's Old Speckled Hen.)

Larry's features a retractable glass wall connecting the interior bar area with the open-air dining patio as well as an exterior facing Windward Avenue.

Larry's: 24 Windward Ave., Venice, CA 90291. (310) 399-2700, www.larrysvenice.com.
