A 39-year-old man who was killed in a gang-related shooting in South Los Angeles today has been identified as Che Yusef Grady.

Grady was discovered by police lying in the street around 5:50 a.m. in the 1700 block of West 60th Street, between Western and Denker avenues, suffering from several gunshot wounds.

Grady was taken to a nearby hospital where he died of his injuries. Police believe that Grady was confronted by the suspect before he was shot. Police suspect the motive was gang-related.
