33-Year-Old Rider Fatally Injured in Motorcycle Collision on South Avenida Caballeros

PALM SPRINGS, CA (February 15, 2023) – Sunday afternoon, Chase Adamic was killed in a motorcycle accident on East Ramon Road.

Around 4:40 p.m., police responded to the scene near South Avenida Road.

For reasons under investigation, a passenger van and a motorcycle collided at the intersection.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the rider, 33-year-old Adamic, of Indio dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the passenger van did not sustain any injuries.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.

Following preliminary investigations, officers determined that drugs or alcohol were not a factor. Once available, further details will be provided.
