Motorcyclist Fatally Struck in Collision near Beacon Lane

UKIAH, CA (January 27, 2022) – A motorcycle accident on South State Street claimed the life of Charles Partridge, early Tuesday evening.

The incident occurred around 5:00 p.m., near the intersection of South State Street and Beacon Lane, authorities said.

According to police, an SUV and a motorcyclist collided in the area. Upon arrival, officers located the motorcycle rider lying on the ground, unresponsive near South State Street.

Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the rider dead at the scene. Authorities later identified him as 52-year-old Partridge, of Ukiah.

Meanwhile, officials closed both directions of the roadway to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, Ukiah Officials are still currently investigating the deadly motorcycle accident.
