19-Year-Old Mesa Man Dead after Auto Collision near Camp Verde
PHOENIX, AZ (June 6, 2022) – Saturday morning, Charles Mann died, and Taylor Ross was hurt in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 17.
The incident occurred on the southbound lanes of the highway around 1:10 a.m., near Camp Verde.
Per reports, Mann was driving a gold Saturn Vue with his passenger Ross, who suffered moderate injuries.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced Mann dead. According to officers, the other colliding party fled the scene and no information is available yet.
Meanwhile, the suspect’s vehicle has not yet been identified or described by the police. However, those with further details are asked to call local authorities.
Crews closed the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
