Motorcycle vs. SUV Collision near Northern Avenue Left a 38-Year-Old Man Dead
PHOENIX, AZ (June 30, 2023) – Early Friday morning, a motorcycle collision near 27th Avenue claimed the life of Charles Hansen.
The incident occurred on June 2nd, just before 1:30 a.m., near the intersection of 27th Avenue and Northern Avenue.
According to the Phoenix police, motorcyclist Charles Hansen, and an SUV driven by a woman were involved in the collision. Reports state that Hansen was headed east on Northern Avenue at high speeds when the SUV made a turn in front of him.
The impact of the collision ejected Hansen from his motorcycle and caused the SUV to be overturned. Both Hansen and the woman driving the SUV sustained injuries.
Emergency crews pronounced 38-year-old Charles Hansen dead at the scene. Meanwhile, first responders extricated the woman and transported her to a local hospital for treatment. She is reported to be in stable condition.
