Freight Train Crash on Sierra Highway Kills 28-Year-Old Charles Davis

LANCASTER, CA (November 23, 2021) – 28-year-old Charles Davis lost his life Monday after a tragic freight train crash on Sierra Highway.

The CHP reported at the scene around 10:00 a.m. November 15, along Sierra Highway and Lancaster Boulevard.

California Highway Patrol said Davis sustained critical injuries and later succumbed to them after a freight train struck him.

At this time, officials said the main cause of the accident still remains unknown.

While an active investigation is underway, authorities will release updates as new information becomes available.
