A Latino man fatally stabbed in a knife fight on Tuesday, Nov. 9, has been identified as 65-year-old Cesar Pino Vasquez. He was involved in a knife fight in a single-occupancy residence on the fourth floor of the Renato Apartments, located at 531 South San Julian Street in downtown Los Angeles.

LAPD officers arrived at the apartment building that night after receiving reports of the fight. Pino Vasquez was pronounced dead at the scene.

Coroner's reports show that the victim sustained stab wounds to his head, torso, left arm and both legs. Another man involved in the fight was hospitalized with serious wounds, but is expected to live.

Details about the suspected murderer have not been released.
