Brandy, have you met Keegan-Michael Key? Cue waterworks. The VIP area of the Women's March Los Angeles was a who's who of celebrities hugging and crying and jumping up and down. If you ever had one of those dreams where everybody you ever wanted to meet (Barbara Streisand? check) just happened to show up at the same place, then you understand the magic of the event.
My favorite highlight was when Kerry Washington asked Jane Fonda backstage what hadn't been said — and needed to be said. Fonda replied that we must remember to never let Trump's terrible (outrageous, misogynistic, cruel, depraved, vindictive, small-minded, pussy-grabbing, racist) behavior become normalized. A close second: Fonda, Debbie Allen, Lesley Ann Warren and Jamie Lee Curtis dancing together. Honestly, there were more than enough highlights to go around.
