The Dizzy Feet Foundation and FOX's So You Think You Can Dance call on America to bust a move at this year's National Dance Day, happening locally as part of the official opening of downtown's Grand Park. Learn two routines in advance (online at dizzyfeetfoundation.org), then get in step with all-star Lauren Gottlieb for a hip-hop master class or shake it to an “Everybody Dance” workout from Zumba Fitness. Later that evening, Nigel Lythgoe, Adam Shankman and Katie Holmes host the Celebration of Dance, Dizzy Feet's second annual gala at the Music Center's Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, with dancers from American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey, Dancing With the Stars, Step Up Revolution and The LXD, including routines from So You Think choreographers Mia Michaels, Tyce Diorio, and Napoleon and Tabitha, a.k.a. Nappytabs, performed by fan favorites Alex Wong and tWitch. National Dance Day at Grand Park, betw.
