Passenger Injured in Motorcycle Accident near Jakes Way in Lancaster
LANCASTER, CA (October 26, 2021) – Police arrested Cathell Oliver after a motorcycle crash that left his passenger injured Sunday evening.
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m., when a northbound Harley Davison collided with a Hyundai Accent sedan near the Jakes Way overpass.
Later on, CHP determined that the motorcyclist was intoxicated and eventually arrested for felony DUI. Meanwhile, medical personnel transported the motorcycle passenger to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
Following preliminary investigations, Lancaster Officials booked 32-year-old Cathell Oliver to Central Jail with a $100,000 bail.
At this time, there has been no update on the current condition of the passenger. Once available, further details will be provided.
