Cat Café "Catfe" in Los Angeles

Catfe wants to bring the joy of cat cafés — a concept originally from Taiwan — to a permanent home in L.A. This weekend, Catfe pops up at the Far East Plaza in Chinatown. Cat lovers are lining up along Broadway for some quality time with the rescue cats, all of which are up for adoption. NKLA and Best Friends Animal Society volunteers are onsite to assist guests with handling the furry friends. Ten Ren and Starry Kitchen are offering refreshing fare, and shoppers loved the surprise gift shop by Pussy and Pooch. Catfe will be open through Sunday. All photos by Nanette Gonzales.
