47-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Auto Collision near Lokern Road
BUTTONWILLOW, CA (October 31, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, Casey Wootten was hospitalized following a solo-car crash on Highway 58.
The incident happened around 12:30 p.m., just east of Lokern Road on October 22nd.
According to police, Wooten was traveling west on Highway 58 at a high rate of speed. Wooten then failed to negotiate a turn and veered off the road.
His vehicle eventually came to rest about 300 feet away from the highway. Emergency crews arrived and found Casey Wootten unconscious inside his vehicle.
Medics then transported the 47-year-old man to Kern Medical for further treatment of major injuries.
At this time, an active investigation to determine further information about the auto collision near Lokern Road is still currently underway.
