Updated after the jump with one local reporter saying Anthony wasn't on the plane to SoCal. First posted at 1:08 p.m.

Southern California is home to the celebrity who gets off. And we're not just talking about Charlie Sheen.

You know: OJ Simpson. Lindsay Lohan. Phil Spector (well, at least for the first trial).

And now there's speculation that Casey Anthony might have come to the land of guilt and honeys.

NBC's Today Show reported this morning that …

… a private jet Anthony was on flew from her home state of Florida to John Wayne International Airport in Costa Mesa.

The plane is owned by a former attorney of Anthony's who has an office at Palomar Airport in Carlsbad. Thus speculation that she might be in San Deigo … ish.

It's all a guessing game, but we can say this:

What better place for a guilty looking, young, easy-on-the-eyes white woman to be than in San Diego?

Just get yourself down to the boardwalk in Mission Beach, Casey, open the top button of your cutoff jean shorts to reveal the top of your bikini, and blend right in. This is the epitome of hiding in plain sight.

It's party central down there, so you'll feel at home. None of the other hot young moms have any idea where their babies are, either.

We know people are out to get you. The safe word is …

Woohoo!

Hope you like fish tacos.

Update: NBC Los Angeles reporter Vikki Vargas tweets that she talked to the John Wayne-bound pilot: He told her no one else was on-board. (But is he to be believed, given the security concerns surrounding Anthony? And why would the plane fly empty from Florida to SoCal?). The plane refueled and took off this afternoon, she says.
