Dennis RomeroCarroll Shelby, known for his iconic Mustangs built in L.A., was named in a $5 million sexual harassment lawsuit, Courthouse News Service reported this week.
Shelby, in fact, wasn't the main, alleged culprit. The L.A. Superior Court suit claims that Shelby employee David Evans drugged and raped a female coworker. Alas, the car king is only accused of “groping” the unidentified 43-year-old plaintiff.

… pervasively hostile working environment which discriminated against plaintiff on the basis of sex.

The complaint alleges the victim was used as an errand girl to make liquor and porn runs for the 88-year-old legend:
Shelby continuously used plaintiff as his own personal servant, never hesitating to send plaintiff out at all hours on grocery runs, liquor runs, pornography runs, and all manner of other personal errands.

Named in the suit were Shelby, Evans, Carroll Shelby Enterprises and The Carroll Shelby Foundation.
A former racer, Shelby is know for souping up Mustangs officially for Ford, making the ones with his name on them (the GT350 and GT500) some of the most valuable and collectible rides in American muscle car history.
His race-derived Cobras of the era can also fetch princely sums — sometimes seven figure prices.
And he's still at it today, putting his name on contemporary factory Mustangs and making eponymous versions of the pony cars from his own base.
