Updated after the jump: Police nab the suspect.

Second LAUSD lockdown of the day: Carpenter Elementary in Studio City, which police felt was too close for comfort to the location they last saw suspected murderer Luis Solano on the run. Laurel Canyon Boulevard has also been blocked off north of Ventura Boulevard.

The school district told City News Service that North Hollywood LAPD officers were searching for Solano near campus. KTLA has a WANTED poster of the alleged killer that says he's a 20-year-old Latino man in a gang:

No one we talked to was immediately sure of which murder, exactly, Solano is accused of committing. Update: It was the shotgun homicide of Pedro Mendoza on November 28, 2010, City News Service reports.
