50-Year-Old Man Killed in Bicycle Accident near D Street
OAKLAND, CA (June 15, 2023) – Wednesday evening, Carlos Smith was killed by a hit-and-run driver on 98th Avenue. The fatal collision occurred around 9:19 p.m. at the intersection of 98th and D Street in the city of Oakland. According to the victim’s relatives, the bicyclist was going to a store to buy some pet food when the crash happened.
