26-Year-Old Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash near Interstate 10

PHOENIX, AZ (March 28, 2022) – Tuesday morning, pedestrian accident on US 60 claimed the life of Carla Raye Bevelyn Anderson.

According to authorities, the collision happened on the ramp from westbound U.S. 60 to eastbound Interstate 10.

Reports showed that Anderson was reportedly walking along the ramp for reasons unknown. There, the driver of an unidentified vehicle struck the pedestrian.

Upon impact, the driver that hit Anderson fled from the crash scene without rendering aid or stopping.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, 36-year-old Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. As of the time, authorities are yet to disclose any further details about the hit-and-run crash.

An active investigation is still ongoing to determine further information
