Pedestrian Hit-and-Run on 39th Street Killed 46-Year-Old Carla Cain
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 11, 2021) – 46-year-old Carla Cain lost her life Sunday morning after a pedestrian hit-and-run crash on 39th Street.
The fatal crash happened just after 2:40 a.m., October 3, in the 1500 block of West 39th Street.
According to the CHP, they responded to the scene after reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle, although the events that led to the crash remain unknown.
Responding medics located the victim with critical injuries and later pronounced the victim dead at the scene. CHP identified the victim as 46-year-old Carla Cain.
Meanwhile, officers said the suspect fled the scene after the collision and did not render aid to the victim.
At this time, the CHP have no details about the model and make of the suspect vehicle. However, an active investigation is ongoing.
