The adversity Carl faced prior to his recent win, where he experienced a crash during practice, makes his victory all the more impressive. Carl’s unfortunate crash caused the vehicle he anticipated to race to be taken out of action… which is something that would discourage many first-time racers and negatively impact their confidence.
