Pickup Truck Crash near Wright Road Left 55-Year-Old Menifee Man Dead

MENIFEE, CA (January 31, 2023) – Sunday afternoon, Canon Squires was killed in a motorcycle-vehicle collision on Bundy Canyon Road.

The incident happened at around 4:17 p.m. at the intersection of Bundy Canyon Road and Wright Road.

According to reports, Squires was riding on a Harley-Davidson along Bundy Canyon Road. There, the motorcycle collided with a Ford pickup that made a left into the path of the rider. The impact of the collision ejected the rider from the motorcycle and caused him to sustain serious injuries.

Following the crash, officials pronounced 55-year-old Canon Squires, of Menifee, dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the Ford driver stayed and cooperated with the investigators.
