Californians Got Wild at the Democratic National Convention


The Democratic National Convention descended on Philadelphia this week, bringing scores of supporters, protesters and politicos to the place where America was born 240 years ago. Photographer and journalist Henry Cherry was on the scene following the exploits of the California delegates, and documenting the tensions and reconciliations between supporters of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. From discord at delegate breakfasts and protests on the streets, to the excitement and unity during convention speeches, check out the explosive antics of democracy at work.
