Sheriff's deputies who raided a Santa Monica apartment early last November 15 allegedly got an eye full — of a nude Miss Nevada 2007, Caleche Ranae Manos.

Now, before all the guys in the greater Los Angeles region pump their fists Rafael Nadal-style and say, Right on!, consider the ramifications:

Miss Nevada 2007 is suing:

Yeah. She says deputies got the wrong place.

They had a search warrant for apartment “C” but for some reason targeted the residence she shared with her fiance, Eric Otto Ryder, aptly marked apartment “A,” according to the Courthouse News Service account of this fascinating suit.

Now, sure, you're saying, any red-blooded American man would have wanted to see what's behind door “A.”

But, no, the lawsuit says, nobody home but innocents. Not only innocents, it argues, but a nude Manos, who was allegedly forced to get out of bed so gun-toting law enforcers could inspect and question rather than protect and serve.

According to the suit against Los Angeles County and the sheriff's department:

The sheriff deputies brandished their firearm[s] and pointed them at Mr. Ryder, who was not fully dressed and who was in shock. The deputies then immediately proceeded to enter the plaintiffs' bedroom.

At that time Ms. Manos was still in bed and was naked. The sheriff deputies, all of which were male and armed with guns, ordered Ms. Manos to get out of bed and then watched as she attempted to do so. The sheriff deputies detained the plaintiffs and subjected them to a search and questioning, all while keeping the plaintiffs at gunpoint and treating them in a rough and rude fashion.

To make matters worse, the claim alleges, a deputy joked that the pageant queen would “have a story to tell” after all was said and done.

The coppers never apologized, the plaintiffs say, and now they're suing for negligence, false imprisonment, sexual harassment, discrimination, and civil rights violations. No money claim has been discussed … yet.

The attorney for Manos and her boyfriend-forever is Matthew Geragos, brother of superstar lawyer Mark Geragos.

Manos was also a former Miss America “Quality of Life” award winner, too.

Good thing she wasn't this Miss Nevada. In that case total innocence might have been hard to claim.
