20-Year-Old Impaired Suspect Arrested after Killing 19-Year-Old Rider near East Delta Road

TUCSON, AZ (June 7, 2023) – Saturday evening, police responded to a deadly DUI crash that claimed the life of Caleb Aaron Goodwin. The incident happened on June 4th, just before 8:00 p.m., at the intersection of South Nogales Highway and East Delta Road. According to the Tucson Police Department, a silver 2008 Ford Focus and a black 2022 Honda CMX500 motorcycle were involved in the collision. Upon investigation, the officers discovered that 19-year-old Goodwin was headed south on Nogales Highway when the Ford attempted to make a left turn from northbound Nogales and struck him. Furthermore, the impact caused Goodwin and his passenger to be ejected from the motorcycle. Unfortunately, Goodwin suffered extreme injuries which later led to his death. Meanwhile, authorities identified the Ford driver identified as 20-year-old Jassiel Jimenez Juvera, who remained at the scene and cooperated.
