Caffe Luxxe brought Northern Italian-style espresso and damn fine latte art to Santa Monica six years ago; light-years, in other words, before specialty coffee really took hold of Los Angeles the way it has in the past two or three years. The shop has since added two shops in Brentwood, and will soon be roasting its own beans in the South Bay.

To celebrate its sixth birthday, all three locations of Caffe Luxxe will have free drinks on the house between noon and 2 p.m. on Friday, June 29th. Note that it is just one birthday drink per customer, lest you become overly caffeinated before your afternoon meetings. Happy birthday, Caffe Luxxe. Tanti auguri!
