CAAMP Out at BeachLife: Ohio folkies CAAMP are in town this weekend to perform at BeachLife fest, so we had a chat.

Were you pleased with the response to the Lavender Days album last year?

The response from our fans is always breathtaking – we are so grateful to those beautiful folks. From an industry side we feel the album was overlooked and under-realized, but we’re working on some new things and feel like it’s top tier.

What have you been up to since its release?

I’ve been making more music, producing, writing, fishing, Evan did a residency down in Florida, traveling, cooking –  just enjoying life.

What do you have planned for your BeachLife set?

Bangers only!

Who else will you be checking out at the festival?

Definitely going to see our pals Trampled by Turtles, and excited to see Noah Cyrus.

Do you prefer festivals, or your own headline show crowd?

There’s perks to both, but we love festival settings to check out other artists and day drink.

When BeachLife is over, what else do you have planned for the year?

We’ve got a great lineup of North American headline shows over the next few months, we’re excited to get back out there!
