Man Pronounced Dead after Three-Vehicle Accident near Harvest Drive

WATSONVILLE, CA (December 6, 2021) – Early Monday morning, Bushy James Alton was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 129.

According to California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just east of Harvest Drive. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.

Per reports, a 2006 Toyota Tacoma and a 2019 Ford F-650 collided. Due to the impact of the collision, both vehicles overturned.

Additionally, the impact caused a flatbed trailer to disconnect from the F-650. It then struck an eastbound 2009 Chevrolet Malibu. The driver was later identified as 59-year-old Alton of Marina, and died at the scene.

Police are still investigating the deadly crash for further circumstances leading up to the accident. More information will be provided once available.
