70-Year-Old Man Hospitalized after Deadly Pedestrian Crash on First Street

LAS VEGAS, NV (October 15, 2021) – On Tuesday evening, a pedestrian collision on First Street involving a metro bus injures one man.

Officers responded to reports of a bus that struck a pedestrian at the intersection of First Street and Ogden Avenue.

Responding officers discovered a 70-year-old man suffering from serious injuries and quickly transported him to a local hospital. Authorities believe the man is a California resident, but his name has not been revealed.

Furthermore, authorities stated the driver, a 45-year-old Las Vegas man, immediately dialed 911 and cooperated with the investigation.

Officers are asking anybody with information to contact LVPD.

An active investigation is still currently underway.
