22-Year-Old Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Collision on Torrey Pines Drive

LAS VEGAS, NV (September 30, 2021) – Tuesday night, 22-year-old Bryce Estocado was injured in a motorcycle crash on Lake Mead Boulevard.

The accident occurred around 8:00 p.m., near Torrey Pines Drive. Officers arrived to the scene shortly after receiving calls in the area.

According to reports, Therese Schubert-Makowiecki was making a left turn from Torrey Pines on West Lake Mead Boulevard. Meanwhile, Estocado was heading south on Torrey Pines.

Both Therese and Estocado failed to stop at the red light, and collided into each other as a result.

Bryce Estocado was ejected from the motorcycle upon impact. Paramedics transported him to University Medical Center’s trauma center for further treatment.

In addition, Therese and two children inside the vehicle remained unharmed.

At this time, authorities do not believe that impairment played a factor in the crash. However, an active investigation is still currently underway.
