24-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck near Ramona Boulevard in Baldwin Park

BALDWIN PARK, CA (August 8, 2021) – The authorities identified Bruce Acosta, 24, who died on a two-car collision in Baldwin Park on Sunday.

According to CHP, the incident occurred at 11:19 p.m., on March 28. Officers arrived on the 605 Freeway near Ramona Boulevard.

Per reports, Acosta was driving a silver 2018 Nissan Rogue in the northbound lanes. For reasons unknown, he veered off the right side of the road. Meanwhile, another northbound white Toyota was unable to avoid the Nissan as it swerved back onto the freeway.

When emergency crews arrived, they rushed the driver of the White Toyota to the nearest hospital. They were said to be suffering from moderate injuries. Although, Acosta was pronounced dead on scene.
