Taking a shower at least once a day, having appropriate personal toiletries (soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc.), brushing your teeth with fluoride toothpaste twice a day and flossing once are basic parts of good hygiene practice. But some people simply hate polishing those pearly whites.

Those who dread the act are in luck, because a second-generation HBCU-educated dentist, Dr. Bobbi Peterson, has created a perfect solution launching in the near future — the Big Mouth Toothbrush.

As Dr. Bobbi explains, the idea for the unique design and effective functionality of the Big Mouth Toothbrush came after she started noticing a rise in gum disease and gingivitis in her patients after the pandemic lockdowns.

As a dentist with years of experience, she knows all the pain points people have when it comes to brushing their teeth. She set out to create a solution that would meet all their needs.

“There are people out there who just don’t like brushing their teeth,” Dr. Bobbi says. “They don’t like the feel of a regular plastic toothbrush or the taste of toothpaste. And oftentimes, they feel like they don’t have enough time to brush properly.”

With that in mind, Dr. Bobbi designed a revolutionary toothbrush to make brushing your teeth easier and more enjoyable than ever before. Featuring a unique ultra-wide and ultra-big brushing surface that covers more area than a standard toothbrush, it requires less time to get your mouth feeling clean and fresh.

It also features soft bristles that are gentle on the gums and provide maximum comfort during use without compromising effectiveness. Aesthetically, the toothbrush comes in a variety of colors to match personalities or bathroom decor.

Dr. Bobbi is most proud of the handle that is ergonomically designed for optimal grip and control. Many of her customers have reached out to her to tell her how this brush changed their lives.

“A hygienist from a rehabilitation center for people involved in accidents said that their patients’ lives are so much easier now as they can spend less time brushing their teeth,” she says.

“Because the brush is so much wider, it shortens the amount of time that you have to raise your hands to brush your teeth, which makes it ideal for people with limited movement.”

Dr. Bobbi also hopes not only to make the process of brushing teeth actually enjoyable but also to help spread awareness about the importance of oral health care.

“My goal is for everyone who uses Big Mouth Toothbrush to feel empowered when taking charge of their oral health care routine. I want people to realize that oral hygiene is not just about having a clean mouth — good oral hygiene helps prevent other diseases too. You can and will save money as you won’t have to pay for expensive dental procedures.”

In order to make her mission even more effective, Dr. Bobbi has decided to ask Mark Cuban, Robert Herjavec, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Daymond John, and Kevin O’Leary for help on ABC’s business reality television series Shark Tank. Dr. Bobbi will jump in the Shark Tank on March 3, aiming to score investment from the stars while gaining more exposure for her mouth-altering invention.
