It would appear that Museum of Contemporary Art trustees have decided against a merger with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and are going with Eli Broad's bailout plan instead.

A new MOCA CEO will be introduced at a museum press conference Tuesday morning.  Broad will join MOCA board co-chairs Tom Unterman and David Johnson, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, City Council President Eric Garcetti and City Councilwoman Jan Perry to announce a plan to improve the museum's financing.

So MOCA won't become MO'LACMA after all.  Instead, call it MO'BRO.
