TMZ reports that actress Brittany Murphy died this morning after suffering from a “full cardiac arrest.” She was apparently taken to Cedars-Sinai, but could not be revived. Murphy was 32.

Murphy's breakthrough role was as Tai Frasier, the makeover project/friend of lead character Cher in Clueless. She continued to work steadily through the years, appearing in movies like Spun, Sin City and Happy Feet. She is perhaps best known to TV watchers as the voice of Luanne Platter, Hank and Peggy Hill's ditzy but well-meaning niece, on King of the Hill, which ran from 1997 through last September. Murphy also occasionally worked as a singer. She contributed vocals for Paul Oakenfold's 2006 club smash “Faster Kill Pussycat” and performed two songs in Happy Feet
