The world is busier than ever before, and accordingly, the demands of work and life take a toll on people’s physical and mental health. Fully aware of this unfortunate circumstance, health and wellness advocate Brit Manuela hopes to guide more people into healthier, intentional, and meaningful living.
Brit Manuela is an entrepreneur and wellness advocate who has dedicated her life to teaching people ways to be healthier and happier. With a massive following of over 1.6 million on Instagram and 850,000 on Tiktok, Brit is a force to be reckoned with in the social media space. The influencer has also started a movement called Body Love with Brit that aims to give people a no-judgment space to experience self-love and transformation.
Brit’s journey into spiritual, mental, and physical health began in 2017, but she only started taking it more seriously at the turn of 2020. Today, she has kept a routine that allows her to balance professional growth and personal development. Brit became a full-fledged entrepreneur a few years ago after she started making social media her full-time career. Over time, she has built a strong brand that inspires many people and attracts other brands to work with her.
Brit’s typical day is pretty standard for the most part. She moves her body, drinks lots of water, learns something, reads, and reflects. While the wellness advocate admits she has moments where she mixes things up in her routine, she has consistently returned to those five practices every time, believing in nourishing the body, mind, and soul equally and that neglecting one would have grave consequences. Keeping up with this goal is challenging in today’s fast-paced environment, but Brit maintains her fight for her wellness regimens and encourages others to do the same. “They say nothing worth fighting for comes easy,” she explains. “Mindfulness, communication, and breathwork can save people’s sanity. Once you push through those tough points, even if it’s just showing up and going through the motion, you will have trained yourself with discipline to show up and show out when you want to do it.”
Staying true to her advocacy, Brit has started expanding her Body Love Instagram page to help more people feel comfortable being themselves. She believes this step is necessary to make sustainable and lasting changes that will bring true happiness. Brit has also started a podcast called “Mindful Talk,” where she shares her take as the creator and entrepreneur to help people make the right choices and speak with mindfulness.
Brit believes that one of man’s greatest enemies today is negativity. She maintains, however, that it’s a foe anyone can conquer with the right mindset and belief systems. “Negativity only exists if we allow it to in our reactions to situations we encounter daily,” she adds. “I am not positive all of the time, but I am grateful; that leads me to process my reactions and how I see things in a mindful way versus in the moment where nothing else seems to correlate and give me insight.”
Giving importance to the role women play, Brit also uses her platform to empower them, especially those who want to start in social media content creation. She advises women to enjoy the process as much as the perks, explaining that you find the most joy in appreciation for the journey. In addition, Brit launched an activewear collection with Bo and Tee called Invincible by Brit Manuela.
