Traffic Collision on Auld Road Left 1 Fatality

FRENCH VALLEY, CA (July 18, 2022) –  A two-vehicle crash on Pourroy Road claimed the life of Brianna Gonzalez, Saturday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 12:42 p.m., when a Jeep and a sedan collided for unspecified reasons.

At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, one of the involved vehicles rolled over three to four times, ejecting one of the occupants, before coming to a stop.

One patient sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau later identified the deceased victim as 17-year-old Gonzalez.

Meanwhile, one other victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

California Highway Patrol officers are still currently working to identify the circumstances surrounding the two-vehicle crash. Once available, further details will be provided.
