2 Fatally Struck in Deadly Accident on Vineland Avenue in North Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, CA (March 23, 2021) – Saturday night, 36-year-old Edgar Kocharya, and 17-year-old Briana Wolfe, were killed in a crash on West Oxnard Street.

LAPD arrived to the scene around 6:26 p.m. Per reports, a grey Saturn ION was heading south on Vineland Avenue when the car veered into northbound lanes and off the road.

The Saturn also struck two other vehicles and Kocharya of North Hollywood, as he was walking out of a Vineland Wine Cellar liquor store. As a result of the impact, Kocharya was pronounced dead on scene.

A female passenger inside the sedan later identified as Wolfe, was transported to a trauma center where she later died.

Authorities have not yet released the identities of the other parties involved. However, officers say the driver was seriously injured. At this time, an active investigation to determine further details remains ongoing.

Briana Wolfe’s family set up a GoFundMe page to assist with funeral expenses.
